Herizon was founded in 2026 with the belief that young women deserve spaces where they can gain knowledge, share experiences, and prepare more effectively to navigate their futures. Growing up as a young woman still comes with unique challenges: biases that are both internal and external, barriers to access and advancement that were assumed to have been knocked down decades ago, and difficult tradeoffs that are not easy to manage.
Herizon was created to help girls understand the challenges they may face, the choices they have, and the opportunities available to them before they are already in the middle of making those decisions. From our conference to our online community, from curated resources to open discussions, every aspect of Herizon is designed with one goal in mind: to give young women access to information, advice and community in order to expand her horizon and empower her to reach her full potential.
In October 2026, HERizon hosted its inaugural National High School Women's Conference, bringing together more than 100 students from over 35 schools for an afternoon of learning, connection, and empowerment. The event marked an important first step in our mission to equip young women with the knowledge, confidence, and community to navigate their futures.
Building on this momentum, HERizon hopes to expand its programming and create more opportunities for young women to learn from one another and from accomplished leaders. We are currently exploring additional programming, including a potential virtual event in spring 2027.
