Our story, our values, and the community building the future together
Herizon was founded in 2026 with the belief that young women deserve spaces where they can gain knowledge, share experiences, and prepare more effectively to navigate their futures. Growing up as a young woman still comes with unique challenges: biases that are both internal and external, barriers to access and advancement that were assumed to have been knocked down decades ago, and difficult tradeoffs that are not easy to manage.
Herizon was created to help girls understand the challenges they may face, the choices they have, and the opportunities available to them before they are already in the middle of making those decisions. From our conference to our online community, from curated resources to open discussions, every aspect of Herizon is designed with one goal in mind: to give young women access to information, advice and community in order to expand her horizon and empower her to reach her full potential.
Looking ahead, Herizon's most immediate focus is to launch a conference that is meaningful, inspiring and actionable for the girls who attend it. We plan to bring together speakers from a wide range of fields to talk honestly about leadership, negotiation, bias, career growth, work-life balance, and the choices they have had to make along the way. Rather than creating a one-off event that girls remember having attended, we want the conference to be something that leaves them with new ideas, actionable advice, and connections that they will continue to nurture in the years to come.
